Momoko Ueda missed the cut at the CN Canadian Women's Open in Winnipeg, Canada (August 26 - 29).
In the first round, having 38 putts, Momoko made two birdies, five bogeys, and one double-bogey to be tied for 111th at five-over-par, 12 strokes behind the leader Michelle Wie.
In the second round, Momoko made three birdies and four bogeys to miss the cut, tied for 86th at six-over-par (77 - 73), two shots off the cut line.
This is her third time to miss the cut in the 2010 USLPGA/JLPGA season.
Michelle Wie clinched her career-second victory as an LPGA Tour player at 12-under-par, by three strokes over the four runners-up. She kept the lead for four days at the event. Congratulations, Michelle!
Last year, Momoko recorded her career-best finish as a USLPGA Tour member with a tie for second at the CN Canadian Women's Open.
This year, just before competing in the tournament, she had coaching for putting from Steve McRae, who is a PGA AAA Coach and mentors Jiyai Shin and Katherine Hull.
Momoko will get in the Japan LPGA Championship Konica Minolta Cup in Nara Prefecture, Japan (September 09 - 12), which is one of the JLPGA major tournaments.
