Safeway Classic Presented by Coca-Cola

Momoko Ueda carded rounds of 68-71-75 for a two-under-par 214, tied for 23rd at the Safeway Classic Presented by Coca-Cola in North Plains, Oregon, the U.S. (August 20 - 22).

In the first round, Momoko made six birdies and two bogeys to be tied for fourth at four-under-par, standing two strokes shy of the leader Ai Miyazato.

In the second round, she made six birdies, three bogeys, and one double-bogey to stand in a tie for 10th at five-under-par, six strokes behind the leader Ai Miyazato.

In the final round, Momoko made four birdies and seven bogeys to end up at two-under-par 214, tied for 23rd.

She said shots were terrible during the game.

Ai Miyazato is the winner, who finished at 11-under-par 205, staying on the top of the leaderboard throughout the event. This is her fifth victory on the 2010 LPGA Tour. Awesome, Ai!

On the practice range before the tournament, Momoko learned putting techniques from Dave Stockton and his son.

She is now suffering from her continual coughing and wonders if the trachea is damaged.

Momoko will play at the CN Canadian Women's Open in Winnipeg, Canada, August 26 -29, which brought her a career-best finish as a USLPGA Tour member with a tie for second last year.
