LPGA Tour Championship


Momoko Ueda missed the third-round cut at the LPGA Tour Championship in Orlando, Florida, the U.S. (December 02 - 05).

In the first round, Momoko made no birdies and five bogeys to be tied for 76th at five-over-par, 10 strokes back from the co-leaders Amy Yang and Seon Hwa Lee.

In the second round, Momoko made three birdies and four bogeys to make the 36-hole cut, tied for 46th at six-over-par, 13 shots behind the leader Amy Yang.

In the third round, Momoko made two birdies, three bogeys, and one double-bogey to be tied for 47th at nine-over-par, but wound up three shots shy of the 54-hole cut line. The leader was Amy Yang at six-under-par.

Maria Hjorth won the tournament at five-under-par. Congratulations, Maria!


Now Momoko's 2010 season has finished without any wins anywhere.

Daio Paper Elleair Ladies Open


Momoko Ueda missed the cut at the Daio Paper Elleair Ladies Open (November 19 - 21, in Ehime Prefecture, Japan).

In the first round, Momoko hit it into the water three times in a row on Hole 3, 172-yard par 3. She made three birdies, two bogeys, and one triple-par to be tied for 83rd at five-over-par, 11 strokes back from the leader Yui Kawahara.

In the second round, Momoko made one birdie, five bogeys, and one double-bogey to be tied for 90th at 11-over-par, but wound up 11 shots shy of the cut line. The 36-hole co-leaders are Tamie Durdin and Yukari Baba at 10-under-par.

Na-Ri Kim won the tournament at 13-under-par. Congratulations!


Momoko isn't qualified for playing at the final tournament on the 2010 LPGA of Japan Tour, or the LPGA (of Japan) Tour Championship RICOH Cup in Miyazaki Prefecture, Japan (November 25 - 28).

Players who have won one or more events on the 2010 LPGA of Japan Tour and/or are in the 25th or higher place on the money ranking on the 2010 LPGA of Japan Tour after the Daio Paper Elleair Ladies Open was over will be qualified to compete in the LPGA (of Japan) Tour Championship RICOH Cup.

Momoko didn't win any of the events and is in the 39th place on the money ranking on the 2010 LPGA of Japan Tour as of November 21.

She may compete in the LPGA Tour Championship in Orlando, Florida, the U.S. (December 02 -05).

Ito En Ladies Golf Tournament


Momoko Ueda finished the Ito En Ladies Golf Tournament (November 12 - 14 in Chiba Prefecture, Japan) at four-over-par 220 (73-74-73), tied for 33rd.

In the first round, Momoko made three birdies and four bogeys to be tied for 22nd at one-over-par, six strokes back from the leader Miki Saiki.

In the second round, Momoko made three birdies and five bogeys to stand in a tie for 36th at three-over-par, 10 strokes behind the leader Miki Saiki.

In the final round, Momoko made three birdies and four bogeys to end up at four-over-par 220, tied for 33rd.

Miki Saiki won it at 10-under-par 206, staying on the top of the leaderboard throughout the 54-hole tournament. This is her career-second victory on the LPGA of Japan Tour, which brought a champion trophy to Miki for the first time in three and half years on the tour. Congratulations, Miki!


Momoko will compete in the Daio Paper Elleair Ladies Open in Ehime Prefecture, Japan (November 19 - 21).

She needs to notch a win at this event in order to be qualified for taking part in the final tournament on the 2010 LPGA of Japan Tour, the LPGA (of Japan) Tour Championship RICOH Cup (November 25 - 28).

Mizuno Classic


Momoko Ueda finished the Mizuno Classic (November 05 - 07 in Mie Prefecture, Japan) at eight-under-par 208 (70-67-71), tied for 14th.

In the first round, Momoko made three birdies and one bogey to be tied for 20th at two-under-par, five strokes behind the two co-leaders Yukari Baba and Jiyai Shin.

In the second round, Momoko made six birdies and one bogey to stand in a tie for seventh at seven-under-par, six shots shy of the leader Jiyai Shin.

In the final round, Momoko made three birdies and one double-bogey to end up at eight-under-par 208, tied for 14th.

The winner is Jiyai Shin at 18-under-par 198. She won this tournament in 2008 as well. Congratulations, Jiyai!

Momoko will play at the Ito En Ladies Golf Tournament in Chiba Prefecture, Japan (November 12 - 14).

LPGA Hana Bank Championship Presented by SK telecom


Momoko Ueda finished the LPGA Hana Bank Championship Presented by SK telecom (October 29 - 31 in Incheon, South Korea) at four-over-par 220 (77-72-71), tied for 43rd.

In the first round, Momoko made two birdies, four bogeys, and one triple-bogey to be tied for 64th at five-over-par, nine strokes back from the co-leaders Vicky Hurst and Song-Hee Kim.

In the second round, Momoko made four birdies and four bogeys to stand in a tie for 54th at five-over-par, 13 strokes behind the leader Song-Hee Kim.

In the final round, Momoko made two birdies and one bogey to end up at four-over-par 220, tied for 43rd.


Na Yeon Choi defended her title by finishing at 10-under-par 206. Amazing, Na Yeon!


Momoko will play at the Mizuno Classic in Mie Prefecture, Japan (November 05 - 07).
