HSBC Women's Champions
Momoko Ueda finished the HSBC Women's Champions (February 25 - 28 in Singapore), tied for 15th at 4-under-par 284 (75-68-68-73).
In the first round, she made two birdies, three bogeys, and one double-bogey to be tied for 49th at 3-over-par, seven strokes behind the co-leaders.
In the second round, she made eight birdies, including five straight ones, and four bogeys to be tied for 15th at one-under-par, four strokes shy of the two 36-hole co-leaders.
In the third round, she shot her second consecutive 4-under-par 68 at the tournament, making six birdies and two bogeys. Momoko got tied for 3rd with three others at five-under-par, two strokes shy of the two 54-hole co-leaders, Ai Miyazato and Juli Inkster.
While she entered the final round paired with Ai Miyazato and Juli Inkster, Momoko made one eagle, three birdies, four bogeys, and one double-bogey to finish the tournament with her 72-hole tally of 4-under-par 284, tied for 15th.
Ai Miyazato won for the second week in a row. Congratulations, Ai!
Momoko will play this week at the Daikin Orchid Ladies Golf Tournament (March 5 - 7) in Okinawa Prefecture, Japan, the opener on the 2010 LPGA of Japan Tour.
