Miyagi TV Cup Dunlop Ladies Open Golf Tournament

Momoko Ueda carded rounds of 67-69-72 for an 8-under-par 208 in a solo second-place at the Miyagi TV Cup Dunlop Ladies Open Golf Tournament (September 25-27) in Miyagi Prefecture, Japan.

In the final round, the 18-hole co-leader Momoko Ueda and the 36-hole solo-leader Chie Arimura, both of who are from Kumamoto Prefecture, battled head-to-head in the final pairing.

As they teed off on the 1st hole, Arimura led by one stroke and Ueda was in a solo-second place.

Ueda shared the lead with Arimura twice, but Arimura finally won at 10-under-par 206 (70-65-71).

Momoko Ueda will play the Japan Women's Open Golf Championship -- one of the LPGA of Japan's four major tournaments -- (October 1 - 4), Chiba Prefecture, Japan this week.
